YOUR BELIEVE SYSTEM Pt.2

For assuredly, I say to you, and whosoever says to this mountain be thou removed and cast into the sea and does not doubt is his heart but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Believing is not a just a concept to enhance concentration and focus but it is a spiritual force that translates the impossible and unseeable to become tangible.

In the part 1 of this study I a statement that is in all sense correct about God and his dealings with us; “Whatever God ask you to do is always bigger than you”. And yes that is true.

It will be bigger than your personality, resources, network, capacity and everything about you but yet it is doable. God expresses himself in ways that is explainable to the natural mind or head knowledge. Sometimes I call this aspect of Him “God’s Show System”. The intentions for God for the earth is to translate the earth into what heaven is. He wants his will to be done on earth just as it is in heaven. But the very surprising and amazing aspect of this mission is that “God will not do anything on earth except it is agreed to be done by someone”. The heavens is the Lord but the earth has he given to us, the sons of men. In fact we could say earth is man’s inheritance.

The scripture above really delve into many things beyond the quoting and most times we keep it “upstairs” as a memory verse. God is always ready to move and work with whosoever that has understanding of what He wants to do in a particular season. Either a believer or unbeliever. Don’t be deceived, when the time has come for something to be established according to God’s plan and timing, He uses anyone who can discern His move. His eyes go through all the earth looking for whom to bless. The blessing comes as a result of a man who is instant in season, discerning of season and accepting the responsibility to establish the season. And also note that the scripture isn’t talking in anyway about going to heaven but expressive about making things to become on earth.

First thing first. You have to believe that you can be used by God for something tremendous. In fact the moment you think are not worthy to be used by God for anything great, that’s when you are qualified to  be used by Him. God is never looking for the powerful one but the weak one in order to make the powerful one weak, He isn’t looking for the wisest of men who are filled with philosophies and ideas of the world system but the foolish who only believes in the wisdom of His spirit. Always let this mind set rule in you  that “You can be used by God”. Why don’t you place your hands on your chest and say “I can be used by God”.

God is quite specific and therefore our communication system while in the transition of believing must be specific. “This mountain”. Couple of times we beat around the bush, fight with the air while communicating what we are inspired by God to do. But no. I recently learnt the importance of specifics in prayers and confession and after the moment of learning I discovered that most of the things that have become a manifestation in my life are the things I was specific about in the place of prayer and confession. When God give you a vision or purpose to achieve, it has a description and therefore you above everyone else knows what is to be achieved even though you might not know how it will be achieved. Therefore, when you pray and confess be specific about the description of what He has shown or told you and at every grid lock be specific about your need. E.g. You need skilled professional to help you achieve something and in the place of prayer, you are making statements like “God send men who to help me”. The question is help you with what? Please note: You cannot create the standard of How God wants to get something done but you have the responsibility to communicate with Him on what is needed at every point in time. The walk with God is a Partnership Relationship and not Employee and Employer Relationship.

A lot of times I have seen believers trying to form a diplomatic accord between themselves and their problems or challenges. Challenges are not stuffs we play diplomacy with, we take them head on by commanding them out. The scripture says we should submit to God and rebuke the devil and He will flee. Rebuking someone or something is not a diplomatic approach system but a command approach system. You tell the mountain where it should go. Jesus was a prime example of this (Matthew 8: 28-34, Luke 8: 26-37). Don’t ever manage your problem deal with it without mercy. It is not humility to try and manage what can ruin your whole process of believing and waiting on God, it is foolishness. No matter how trivial it seems even if it is a thought, The scripture says we should cast it down and bring it into subjection of Christ. When Peter was going to try to be emotional with Jesus saying He shouldn’t mention about Him dying etc. (Mark 8:31-33, Matthew 16:23) Jesus rebuke him sharply and openly. Never tolerate anything or anyone that is a discouragement to your process of believing or else in due time they will accelerate your disappointment and they will deny you.

Don’t doubt in your heart but it is permitted to doubt in your head. This sounds funny but it’s a very serious case. Am sure you will be wondering what’s the difference? Doubting in the head is something we all do especially when God informs us of what we need to do. It is just so funny and unbelievable because the first thing we tend to do as humans is to start calculating the expense of what needs to be done and what we have at hand. It is just so unbelievable. Imagine when God wants you to embark on a project worth billion and millions and here you are with the only fund that will take you to work that day and back and not even enough to afford what to eat. Yes we all calculate such especially when it is our first experience in such situation with God. In the real sense of it, God is not interested in what you have or who you are. He is only interested in one currency which is the faith to believe what He has said and then once that is established, a partnership begins. Doubting in your head is quite simple but destructive also because when you think to much about what is needed to be achieved and your lack of capacity to achieve it, you might mess everything thing by saying things you are not meant to say and once you start saying things you are not meant to say then you have upgraded from doubting in your head to doubting in your heart. The place of doubt in the heart is the stage of unbelief. Once you start saying the negatives things, making utterances that are contrary to Gods plan, idea and purpose for you then you are doubting in your heart. It is therefore more advisable to keep shut rather than say the wrong things. And how to you help yourself not to get to this stage? Keep saying what God has said and don’t stop even if your head cannot comprehend it still. Keep talking about it.

I need to warn that when I say keep talking about it, I don’t mean you go about gisting with every one you meet or know but instead talk about it with yourself. The moment you start telling yourself what God has said, you have started building the capacity to achieve what He has said to you. You need to guide your heart with all diligence because the issues of your life will flow from it. Don’t stop talking about God’s purpose and promise, keep it on your lips always and it is inevitable that has time goes by you will have whatsoever you say.
