THE KNOWLEDGE OF HOPE

How amazing how alot of spiritual concepts has been watered down to in most cases become a cliche that carries no power of transformation anymore. It saddens the heart to see that we christians tends to do more in propagating this mannerism.

Hope mentioned amongst the three inevitable equations of a true believer and spiritual man (1Corithians 13:13; Three things that last forever - Faith, Hope, and Love - and the greatest of these is love. NLT). 


I ask a question, what things can be eternal (last forever) if not a substance of the eternal Father himself. Only one who has the power and essence of immortality in Himself can create that which is eternal. 
Ephesians 2: 11-13 (11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.)... We were having no hope and without God in the world.

Hope therefore is an essential eternal value every true Christian receives as one of the mark of being saved by the believing in the righteousness of Christ and confession of His Lordship (Rom:10:9-10). Hope is a spiritual inheritance a believer receives from God upon salvation. Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.

One of my favorite definition of hope is "It is a CONFIDENT EXPECTATION of GOOD".. Wow!!! Isn't that wonderful? Confident Exepectation. Its not just a wish, a fantasy no fallacy but Confident Expectation. Why? Because it is a substance of the person of God Himself. Eph. 2: 12 says we were having no hope and without God then I like to also confidently say that now we have God and therefore we have hope not as the world would define it but has the person of Christ in us through the Holy Spirit assures and confirms it always.

Let no one define Hope outside of you but look within yourself and connect to the Spirit that bears witness of the Hope of Christ in you and you will birth the strength to carry on and be better in all.

Remember you are designed for the Supernatural and not just the Spectacular. Christ in you is the Hope of Glory.
